No tear-off collar.

It really is very durable. I tried testing the strength by holding it together and trying to pull it apart. It won't fall apart, and believe me I've tried. I can't let my kitten carry it outside because I'm afraid she will get caught and won't be able to free herself.

Pros

The convenient collar buckle protects your pet and is easy to detach and adjust. The reflective tape is highly visible and easy to find at night
