I was very pleased to use this kit with my students during our summer school. I spent most of the morning filling the tiny bottles with paint and labeling each color. That same day we went outside to get started and came to the shocking realization that each bottle covers about 5 square inches of a t-shirt. This meant I had to use 4-5 bottles for each shirt, the colors had to be random and I definitely didn't get the "36 designs" from the set. I convinced a class full of kids that we would try again the next day after I went out and bought another one stop set of a few primary colors. Worked like a charm in comparison. I was so excited about this kit and even more excited when it included a thank you note for supporting small businesses. Judging by some of the comments, I had to scoop out small portions of the powder, and then I was able to mix more dye. I wish this was clearly stated in the instructions. All in all I am disappointed with this purchase. The tiny funnel was pretty cute though, and the labels were a nice touch. It's a shame that everything was abandoned in the end. 😩
