there was nothing in the instructions, there was a hole in the bottle

there was nothing in the instructions, the color was already in the bottle, but it wasn't. You have to fill 26 bottles of water and packets of color powder into a tiny hole in the bottle. There will be a mess even if you find such a small funnel. There was a hole in the bottle so we can't use all the colors. Very cheaply made for the high price of this item. I do not recommend buying this. I bought this for my 13 year old daughter and she couldn't use it because the instructions weren't clear…

Big! Follow the instructions and everything will be fine!

The instructions are excellent. Made some t-shirts. If you follow the instructions, they really do look amazing! I ended up soaking my shirts in a vinegar and water solution for a while before rinsing and then washing them for the first time. According to the instructions, cotton takes on the colors best. The squeeze bottle size for each color is small, probably enough for two or three shirts if you're using other colors as well. For two adult shirts and two children's shirts I used about 8-10…

If you want to disappoint the whole class of kids...

I was very pleased to use this kit with my students during our summer school. I spent most of the morning filling the tiny bottles with paint and labeling each color. That same day we went outside to get started and came to the shocking realization that each bottle covers about 5 square inches of a t-shirt. This meant I had to use 4-5 bottles for each shirt, the colors had to be random and I definitely didn't get the "36 designs" from the set. I convinced a class full of kids that we would try…
