SOMETIMES THESE ARE FAKES! I love these battery operated candles from Luminaria. They take 2D batteries and actually last quite a while. I have them on 5 hour timers and estimate a candle lasts just over 2 months. Make sure you buy this Luminaria brand. There are fakes that don't work. I also tried the ones with remote control and they never worked for me. I don't like the flavored version either. I always make sure it doesn't smell. I still have one in a box as a gift in the closet because it is so often loved by overnight guests as a guest room night light. I WISH YOU WERE CONSISTENT! I would buy more! Very doubtful. Even from my dear Revane. I ordered one in May 2019 and it didn't work, sent it back, waited a few days and ordered another. It is excellent! I don't know if the one I received was sent back by someone else or if it was a fake but there are real luminaries and they are worth the effort to make sure you choose the right brand! I wouldn't advise ever messing with remote controls though, they never work. The timer is great!
