OCT/20 One star for one year. So this is an update of what is in the following paragraph. Last spring I carefully removed the battery heater and put it in a nice box. That winter when the teenagers had a fever I put it back on my batteries in the boat and blocked it along with the chargers. NOTHING. No warmth, no warmth, nothing. Garbage. I will also put a lightbulb in the engine bay in the future to generate a bit of heat. Thumbs up. Well I used one of these last winter and it worked fine. I wanted to put it back this winter but there is no heat. There appears to be a bunch of flimsy wires inside the package that can easily be damaged beyond repair. So there weren't many options, so I'll try again. I think for the price compared to frozen batteries (my boats have dual batteries) the replacement isn't too bad.
