These are good little fish hides but I thought every log would be covered, instead they are all open so basically only one fish is hiding or getting can get away from other fish. I bought two thinking they were 6 cylinders but actually only two. I'll try to find a way to close them so it's actually 3 logs instead of one wide open log. I bought these specifically for my bettas so they can hide in case of need. The edges on the inside of the logs were also rough and I had to file them down and smooth the outside. I don't want my bettas to snap their fins. Update 02/16/2021: With some aquarium plant glue and a few cut plastic bowls I was able to fit any tree trunk. Now my roosters have several hiding places. They love hanging out there as you can see. There's plenty of room for them too, so float around.
