Review on Microphone Fifine K669 USB, blue by Wiktor wikliski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

I haven't found anything negative to say about it yet; it seems sturdy, the sound transfers well, and it almost appears like a professional, studio one; is it worth taking? For online multiplayer on Team Talk 3, this is an excellent choice if you don't mind the high sensitivity (which is mitigated by the setting).

Pros
  • Sound quality is excellent, and the microphone is sensitive enough that you won't have to get too close to be heard from a seat 40–50 centimeters away; however, even when adjusted, the microphone picks up a lot of background noise, such as people talking nearby and their keyboards being clicked (which is even more distracting than people talking). - It's metal, so it's heavy for a microphone, but it also seems really solid. The microphone has a volume control and requires no additional software or drivers.
Cons
  • No mute button is available; the microphone's volume can be turned down to a level that is audible, but only by continuously adjusting the volume control. Although the microphone can be twisted out of the tripod without any problems, this is more of a matter of personal preference than anything else, as the tripod only has one position and the microphone can take up quite a lot of space in it if you have limited empty space on your desktop.
