This receiver was a disappointment. Despite being marketed as "compatible" with a wide range of smartphones and made within a recent timeframe, it failed to connect consistently, even with phones that were listed as recommended. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I found that the electronics used in this device were subpar, leading to connectivity issues and an overall unsatisfactory experience. The only positive thing I can say is that it was relatively easy to install. Overall, I do not recommend this receiver for anyone looking to improve their car electronics.
