This end mill cuts just as well as some of the $60+ tools I have at work. I bought them for a personal project as I don't risk damaging work tools and will replace them at their expense. I could use their 1/2" or 1/4" end mills and ball mills, but something that small will eventually break. but I haven't gotten to that yet. I've cut 6061 and aluminum, brass 360 and copper about 145. Of course, the work is slow and with small steps down/increments, but I'm not conservative in that area and they still work well. They're not in the quality bracket of some high-end tools, but they're also less than 1/10th that price. See what you want to carve with them and they won't disappoint.
