This is my second purchase of this bulb. It's great at keeping my beard warm and has the UVA/UVB it needs. I've read comments about this bulb burning out after minimal use. My question is; do you use a dimmer? NOT! These lamps are too powerful for dimmer switches. I learned the same thing as all of you and replaced them too soon! Save yourself a costly lesson and get rid of the dimmer! By the way: if you have burned out other reptile bulbs and because of the dimmer; Here's why!
