My experience with this extension was good; This significantly boosted the signal in our living room at the far end of the (though not very large) house from our router. The only thing I've noticed is that nearby electrical devices, especially those with motors, will definitely disable that power strip. We have an air purifier that first lived next to this extension cord and then at a spot about a foot away from the extension cord, but between the extension cord and the router, and the extension cord didn't like either of those situations. Lots of action with orange light (orange light on this extender means no WiFi signal). Removed the air purifier from the power strip and out of the signal path and everything was fine again. beyond what the green light is telling me, but I can't seem to be able to after the power strip is set up; I can only get to the setup/configuration page after resetting the extender using the button on the back. But I will live. The Expander seems to do what we expect it to do, and that's about all we expect it to do (weird how that works).
