WISH IT WOULD WORK

IT WAS PRETTY EASY TO INSTALL BUT WE HAD TO CALL TECH SUPPORT TWICE, IT IS NOT EASY TO REACH. THE FIRST TECH SUPPORT WE DEALED WITH WAS RUDE AND VERY INTOLERANT. THE SECOND TECH WAS MUCH BETTER AND EASIER TO COMMUNICATE BUT WE WERE INTERRUPTED AND SHE NEVER CALL BACK. MY PROBLEM WITH THE EXPANDER IS THAT IT WILL NOT STAY CONNECTED. WE HAVE REMOVED IT IN MANY DIFFERENT PLACES IN MY HOUSE. THE LONGEST WORKING TIME 30 MINUTES. WORKS GREAT WHEN CONNECTED. I DO NOT LIVE IN A BRICK OR CEMENT HOUSEโ€ฆ

never mind But breaks the connection.

So in most cases this will be a pretty good router. Just to use my phone or iPad with it seems fine. But I used it for games. I ran an ethernet cable from it to my computer, but it was connected to the router wirelessly. It lost signal quite often and threw me out of games. It usually reconnected very quickly, but it was still enough to blow my mind. I renamed the SSID and did everything I could think of. I ended up just running a 100 foot ethernet cable from my router to my computer and I useโ€ฆ

so bad i wish i could give it negative stars

I'm a network engineer and I can say this is probably one of the worst products I've ever had to use. supposed to support seamless roaming, but no. It's supposed to be possible to get the settings directly from a supported (and equally terrible) Linksys router, but that's not the case. The only thing worse than this product is the "support" made up of several people who barely speak english and after 3 hours on the phone with them they blame; Router defect, repeater defect, bad weatherโ€ฆ

We have excellent signal, speed and large coverage area inside.

I recently bought a Linksys Max Stream ac3000-re9000 Wi-Fi Extender to expand my wireless network with a Linksys ac4000 Max Stream router. The router is in the garage under the house by the window, and the power strip is about 75 feet across the driveway in another building (steel) by the window. Once setup (wireless) we have an excellent signal, speed, and coverage indoors and out. This product has 5 stars. I read many reviews about the pros and cons of this product. Extender does exactly what

Keep away from electronic devices

My experience with this extension was good; This significantly boosted the signal in our living room at the far end of the (though not very large) house from our router. The only thing I've noticed is that nearby electrical devices, especially those with motors, will definitely disable that power strip. We have an air purifier that first lived next to this extension cord and then at a spot about a foot away from the extension cord, but between the extension cord and the router, and theโ€ฆ

It's great for big houses

I don't know what the problem is with people and this extension cord. I use it as a wired hotspot to extend my Wi-Fi network in my 4,600 square foot home on three levels. I have a Max Stream router in the middle of the house on the first floor and there are two of them, one on the second floor and one in the basement. I'd say it's probably signal overkill, but then again, I don't need to look for coverage either. With one router in the middle of the house on the ground floor, one in theโ€ฆ

Linksys WiFi Extender Review

This router serves one of two purposes. 1) as a router with solid capabilities 2) as a WiFi extender, which is my use case. There are several ways to set up this device, but the easiest is to just turn it on, press the WPS button on your router (extender), and then log into your primary or main router, press the WPS button (if all Linksys) , easy integration, and within about a minute your main router (which is connected to the internet via RJ45 cable (cat5e twisted pair cable) will be detected

  • Finally bought it
