Review on Rosebud Salve: Luxurious Lip Balm and Skin Moisturizer, 0.5 fl oz by Eddie Baglien

I just LOVE roses but have a really hard time finding rose scented products. When I saw this beauty guru talking about it being her favorite lip balm, I wanted to buy it. I have to say the stuff is really good. It leaves my lips incredibly soft and a little goes a long way. In fact, most of the time when I think I haven't squeezed out enough balm, as soon as I put it on my lips I feel like I have too much of it. In such cases I just rub the excess balm into my hands and they become very soft. I would say my only complaint is the smell; I LOVE the scent of roses, but this one has an almost medicinal scent. It definitely smells like roses, but not like toner or real rose water. It's hard to describe. I like it, but could be better. Since it's in a tube I've shared it with other people and only two really enjoyed the scent while others say it smells weird. I saw a review that said they didn't like the taste, but mine doesn't taste like anything. Everyone I know who's tried it said they loved it. I find that most lip balms just prevent chapped lips but this one actually moisturizes them and makes them so silky. There is a slight pink tinge, but on the lips it is not noticeable at all. Because the formula is very smooth and not waxy, it gives my lips a very nice shine when applied, almost like a clear lip gloss. As for the delivery, it came VERY fast. I thought it would be a few weeks for some reason, but it actually happened after a few days. I was also surprised to find that I received two tubes instead of one; I am assuming this was a mistake as the product description does not state that you will receive two. I think I'm just lucky. If you want a good balm, this is the way to go!
