Rosebud Salve: Luxurious Lip Balm and Skin Moisturizer, 0.5 fl oz Review

Ideal for preventing chapping from strong winds and moisturizing lips. My skin is extremely sensitive to the weather, my cheeks get very red and then dry and hot, this ointment protects my skin and I feel very good. I haven't had any reactions or breakouts from using it on my face on cold, windy days, so that's a big plus since many products cause dermatitis on my skin.

I suffer from dry lips, no matter what I do, they are always dry. I used to use Jack Black but now that I've bought it I prefer this one. It takes longer. I can literally fall asleep with lip balm on and wake up with leftovers on my lips. Favorite lip balm of all time!

My lips are constantly cracked and bleeding and no products helped, so I found this ointment in an article about the best lip balms. I love that it only has 4/5 ingredients and they are all good for sensitive skin. It has a light, pleasant smell that's not overpowering in any way, and the taste is just a little bit. Absolutely recommendable, I am very satisfied with this lip balm.

I love Smith's Rosebud Salve in tube and jar. The tube slips easily into your purse and one application is enough to heal common chapped/chapped lips. The active ingredients (rose for vitamin C, plus some borax) are amazing at softening the skin! I keep a jar at home and apply it to my lips and problem areas of dry skin at night, and take a tube with me during the day. The perfect combination!

A few months ago I had a really horrible allergic reaction to something that put my lips in a feedback loop: they were terribly cracked, itchy, sore and swollen and then reacted to almost any lip balm that I serve (usually Burt's Bees). The area around the mouth was red and irritated on first use. I wanted to ask for a refund/exchange for a different item and that wasn't an option. I'm used to basic return or exchange coverage for all items. Now I'm out of $7 due to an allergic reaction to the product and still have to find another that works. The smell is pretty disgusting too. Wouldn't buy again would not recommend due to return policy.

On me it fades quickly but leaves the lips in a slightly better condition. It's very runny, like lip butter, and smells like roses. There's a taste I can't describe, but whatever. I keep long-lasting balms in my purse and short-lasting balms by the bed. I'd rather wake up with dry lips than be out in public to reapply lipstick. Oh my god, that's heaven in a tube. I live in Alaska and had severely chapped lips last winter after moving here from the high humidity and warm south. I just LOVE roses but have a really hard time finding rose scented products. When I saw this beauty guru talking about it being her favorite lip balm, I wanted to buy it. I have to say the stuff is really good. It leaves my lips incredibly soft and a little goes a long way. In fact, most of the time when I think I haven't squeezed out enough balm, as soon as I put it on my lips I feel like I have too much of it. In such cases I just rub the excess balm into my hands and they become very soft. I
