While these cups are great for refillable baby drinks, they're not quite what you might expect. Most mugs have an indication of how long they will comfortably last, about 1 inch below the rim of the mug. For example, my child's plastic cups are larger than these and are advertised as 9 ounce cups. These mugs weigh 12 ounces when filled to the brim. They only weigh about 8 ounces if you have room on top for your drink. I will keep them for myself but I will also be ordering a 16oz mug set so I can put 12oz in it and NOT spill my kids because it's too full.
