Review on Nikon 50mm f/1.8D Lens: Perfect for Nikon DSLR Cameras! by Akemi Akio ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

Comrades, this is not discussed. This is a must have. Any amateur photographer should have a fix, and this is it - Nikkor 50mm 1.8. Light, bright, sharp, beautiful and not expensive. Taking pictures indoors and in low light is a pleasure. The difference in pictures after 18-105mm is enormous. Before buying, I doubted taking Nikkor 50mm 1.8 or 50mm 1.4 (Nikon or Sigma). Of course there is a difference, I don’t argue, but this difference is not the kind for which it is worth overpaying two or even three prices. Especially if you are an amateur photographer, and not a professional photographer. Recently, I shoot only for him. It becomes glass for every day, although you can’t shoot landscapes with it, of course, you have to wear a zoom. After the release of the new AF-S 50mm 1.8 model (with a built-in motor), the price should continue to fall, but something in 2022 is happening very smoothly. By the way, the difference between the old model and the new one is only in the motor. Yes, the build quality is better, it has become more solid. Yes, autofocus has become less noisy and faster. But this does not affect the quality of the picture. Therefore, it's just marketing. Apparently, Nikon marketers finally saw the problem of the lack of a good fix for the d40 / d60 / d3000 / d5000 screwdriverless carcasses. Previously, the only option for these carcasses was the Nikkor 35mm 1.8.

Pros
  • Cutting. Light coloured. Light. Not expensive.
Cons
  • Red price 4 with a guarantee. No lens hood included.
