I don't leave many negative reviews but I have some issues with this box. With a little more effort, this necklace organizer could be great. If they weren't so damn hard to find I'd send them back in a heartbeat. First, there is no carry or lift handle. The thickness of the box makes it difficult to grasp, making it a headache every time you pick it up to get the necklace. I can add a handle, but I don't have to. The clasp holding it together won't last long as mine is already loose and fussy about closing. It also requires some thought (probably something wrapped around the box to keep it closed). It is recommended to add some anti-tarnish to the box unless your items are gold. I wouldn't recommend it as a gift unless it's someone like me who's on a keg and can't find anything better temporarily. I have contractors in and out of my home and I need something portable that I can take with me and hide away. Even though we have tornado alerts, it makes picking up and carrying valuable jewelry easier. priorities here! It's nice inside to be honest. The area where the chains rest is soft and somewhat firm. If you don't mistreat it, it should definitely continue. There should be a strap under the hooks to hold the necklaces in place. Gravity will cause them to fall forward and get tangled no matter which tag is attached and stowed in the pocket below. Been there, done. Another thing to do after entering the market. I would happily pay more for a better quality and well thought out product. Finally for every necklace, not just for this box. You can multiply the number of strands in each slot and solve the tangling problem by threading them through a straw. I don't use plastic straws anymore, but I have old ones lying around. I cut them, threaded the chain, fastened it and no more knots.
