Makes quesadillas the best in the specialty equipment category

I first got this as a gift and wasn't impressed with the idea until I started using it. What a great way to prepare a quick meal for the kids, use up leftovers or just grab a quick bite to eat. Works with almost any type of topping as long as you don't overdo it and let the lid close. When using foods with a thick filling (e.g. diced chicken), you may need to use some muscle force to close the lid just enough to secure the latch. I had no trouble heating up the internal contents before the case blew through, so that's good. But clams turn out crunchier than, say, fast-food quesadillas. The interior design has ribs that press down on the shells and form sealed triangular pockets, but they're not long enough or sharp enough to actually slice the quesadilla for you. Most of the time you can break or tear the triangles, but sometimes you have to cut them open with a knife if you really want to separate them. The inside is also non-stick, but anything that spills on me burns quickly and usually sticks. Since you can't submerge the coffee maker in water, cleaning it can become a chore if you get it really dirty. This way, you can make quesadillas with either pre-cooked or raw shells, and the only limit to the type of quesadilla is your own imagination and how much you can stuff in and still close the lid. When the one I got broke after two years, I immediately bought another one, I liked it so much.
