These clips are so tight that it is difficult to insert bills into the clip. Very complicated. I fixed mine by inserting four quarters into the clamps, which allowed me to spread the clamp a few inches by hand. It worked, but only after I had to endure a clip that was too tight for a couple of weeks. Now that the "solidness" has been removed I'm very happy with the clip. It's extremely light. I wouldn't give them away.
