Unique car and car electronics

Just started research and saw this. You're right, someone who grumbles about the price and prefers a dual touchscreen shouldn't be here. This is a completely different class of car stereo. I've had some very good two din units. But I chose to mount my iPad Pro in my dash, which would challenge all double din head units for me. After the iPad Pro, I think that's exactly what I need. There are not many such head units. The market, I'm sure, will soon be flooded with it and the price will fall. My first two din radio was a $1500 Pioneer AVIC D3. That was in 2004. The scary thing is that I was perfectly happy with it until I started seeing new technology and it will happen again, gone are the days when you could buy technology and hope to live off it for 15 years. It's not that it doesn't work for as long, it's that your technology, which once made you feel up to date, works a lot less often after a while. The Decade makes you feel like you have a mono AM radio in your dash. Imagine if it was a car in the 1950s. In the 1960s there was an FM variant, then a stereo variant. Things we all take for granted. I've owned Sony for decades. I will definitely buy because the quality is untouchable
