This is great for cold weather! I'm not sure about sub-zero temperatures - the wind can get through. I bought the green one and it looks just like the pictures. It's stretchy so it moves with you. It came vacuum packed and needed to be washed before wearing. It had a chemical smell. This pairs well with a light soil layer or reservoir. It's neither tight nor tight. It's not baggy, not loose and not too big. Punches in mid-thigh, can be lowered backwards. It has an elastic hem at the bottom. The hands also fit properly. That hem isn't some crazy skinny thing that rides up, creates a bell shape, or whatever annoying thing happens sometimes. Overall I'm very happy with it, I might even buy another one.
