They are thin, and the tie can easily slip into the waistband if you don’t watch out. When I got them I wanted to see how far they would stretch at the waistband and the tie went right in. I spent very little money on them so I wasn’t expecting the best pants ever, but they are comfy, have pockets and get the job done.
