I know it's for furniture but here's a new use. I bought a new 33ft trailer 7 years ago so my wife and I can live full time. We bought two hectares of land and built on it. A year later, the air conditioner on the roof was covered in dust. We never liked it; it sounded like a freight train and froze, scattering ice crystals and water in all directions. We lived 60 miles from the nearest dealer. After 2 weeks of calling I bought a good 15 ampere window device. Since the trailer's walls aren't as strong as a stick house, I built a wooden platform to support it. Everything works fine except about 5 times a year the rear of the air conditioner needs to be adjusted up or down by about 1/4 inch. I saw it on Revain and the rest is history.
