Something is wrong with them!

I ordered these for my son and my husband gave them to him, I was going to give him one today and I open them and they are all very hard green and orange! Not the color they're supposed to be and not soft like they've been in the sun too long and gone bad or something. My husband didn't know they weren't supposed to look like this and had given them to him for 3 days 😪😪😪 until I finally checked. Didn't even think to test them beforehand to make sure they're good.
