It's surprisingly sturdy for such a thin piece of plastic. Believe me, 88lbs dog has been ramming it into every thing he can to get it off.The velcro is quick and easy but gets filthy pretty quickly and is hard to clean. My dog is a drool factory so that cone needs rinsed off, cleaned out, and wiped down constantly. It gets sticky and uncomfortable.Lastly there's some tread around the neck that seems to be super itchy for my dog, when it gets wet it stays wet and you don't really have a lot of time to clean it if you're trying to monitor your dog.I would buy two for one dog just to have a backup around. My problems with this cone would not prevent me from buying it again.
