Review on EMAX Nanohawk Receiver Outdoor Beginners by Nathan Akers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not too shabby - Vehicles

Nanohawk is definitely between whoop and micro. It's a more capable freestyler than the Mob6 and very stable, but the props are very fragile and the camera tends to jelly after a few collisions. I replaced the props with 3 Gemfan 1220 blades and applied a tiny drop of hot glue to keep the camera stable. Powered by a Crazepony 260mah gnb27 it's very nimble and perfect for keeping power above 3.3v, flies like a hog to 450s but has about 45 seconds longer flight time. A fun little flyer for the playground when it's not too windy or for more indoor space. This model requires soldering to attach the receiver as it is not included. I use fsia8x and t18 jumper and get great range. I bought it for just under $90 while similar online FPV shops cost about $15 more for the same PNP model.

Pros
  • PNP version (WITHOUT RECEIVER INSTALLED)
Cons
  • Volume
