Ideal for calligraphy.
I've been using it for a few weeks now and it's great so far. Buying took a long time! I used a battery powered children's lightboard. Eventually I got tired of the muzzle around that bar of light that always gets in the way of smooth, uninterrupted writing. I decided to give it a try, although I feared I wouldn't always want it online. But it's MUCH better! It's flat on all sides, so I can write across the page without getting my hands on the frame; I don't need to move the page. The light is much brighter
