I highly recommend Delphi fuel pumps for GM vehicles. Virtually all late 90's and early 2000's GM vehicles have a redesigned electrical connector for the fuel pump. The need to cut the old connector off the wiring harness and install the new pigtail that came with the pump is not only common, it is a major design improvement. Using a cheap part that uses the original connector may seem more convenient, but it only increases the likelihood that the new part will fail due to the connector's inherent flaws. This is the case when the replacement part needs to be different from the original. So don't be fooled by complaints about the need to replace the plug.
