This frame is die cast and has good strength and weight. The holes line up well with my plate and the mounting holes on my bike. Chrome has strange lines. It is clearly visible from afar. But when you get closer, the lines look like scratches, like they've been brushed with steel wool. Up close they either look like sanding marks showing through the chrome or like they've been brushed with chrome paint and those are brush strokes.
