I love this van. I use it to carry heavy bags of soil, but it also comes in handy for some ingenious uses I wasn't aware of before. The flat top allows the cart to be loaded with items larger than the platform. For example, someone on the curb outside my house had an entire tall cabinet/drawer. To my surprise, there was nothing wrong with it and I searched for a similar piece of furniture for several weeks. I spoke to my neighbor about it and got his blessing to take the item home. With my husband's help, I wheeled my rugged van there, loaded a spare closet and brought it home across the street with no problem. The rubber wheels are fantastic. Even when fully loaded, installing the upstand is not a problem. However, DURING ASSEMBLY, make sure to use pliers to loosen the small metal pins holding the wheels. I had never assembled anything like this and didn't know what to do with needles until my master showed me. For him as for an experienced professional, this assembly step was a matter of course, but not a matter of course for me - and it wasn't in the instructions either!
