Does the job! for kitchen lights
He does what he has to. I needed it for my portable washing machine. At first I thought it didn't fit because when the hose was slipped over the oblong valve the white rim didn't go through the ball locks causing the hose to break and water to gush in all directions when the faucet was on. Then I realized I just needed to give the white part of the hose a little nudge until it snapped over the balls holding it to the valve. Now there are no problems.
