The first line of the product description says this light is 'Super Bright'. This light is not super bright. I would compare it to a 25 watt oven lamp. You can see but don't expect to light up the room. I would also say that there is not enough light during the day to light up the counters. However, for our needs, this light works perfectly. We have it in the kitchen behind the counter where my husband cooks dinner at 5am. The light is bright enough to illuminate a workspace without illuminating the entire room or waking up the household. The motion sensor works well and never stopped working. The light goes out again after 15 seconds, which wasn't a problem either. Very easy to install and the instructions are sufficient. I wish it was a little brighter. A light bright enough to fully illuminate the counter in daylight can always be dimmed to an appropriate level for nighttime use.
