These are large plastic frames. What I like about it is that I can't see the edges of the glasses when I'm wearing them - they don't block my view of the screen. If you have a narrow face, you may find that these are not the most suitable ones for you. These are plastic frames and they feel that way. They would be difficult to adjust in size (no movable nose clip, etc.). I wear distance glasses, but not when I'm at the computer. I wanted something that would help me since I tend to sit in front of a computer for quite a bit of the day. Putting them on feels like looking at my screen through clear glass. However, I find that my eyes don't hurt as much once I've finished my online work. It took me a while to figure out the best way to dress them up so they seem to be doing their best. I find that the top of the glass works better for me than the bottom of the glass. When you get them you can experiment with where they sit on your face. I love that they come in different colors and in a set of four. Each member of my family took one and we all noticed the difference.
