This product appears to be durable and is suitable for removing the metal spark plug caps on a 2002 non-turbo VW Golf 2.0. If you are careful and remove the 2 injector clips you can even get 2 inner spark plug boots without removing the top half of the intake manifold. Just make sure you blow out the spark plugs with compressed air before removing them, as dirt likes to build up around them and can get caught in the threads or get into the engine.
