I have returned this product. I wanted to use it to play old cassettes, each type II. The description of this item does not mention that these cassettes will not play. It just says it will play cassettes. When I received it and read the manual, it said the tape recorder does not "support" type II, III, or IV tapes. Type I only. I don't know why that is, but it doesn't play any of my tapes. The seller must make this point clear in their online description of their capabilities. Whatever the cost of this item, I don't know why it can't play all the cassettes.
