Review on Purina Beyond Grain Free Ocean Whitefish & Egg Adult Dry Cat Food: A Natural and Nutritious Choice by Bill Ramani

I've been feeding my cats Science Diet for a while because I thought it would be good for them, but they seem to throw up a lot more than cats are supposed to be, I mean, almost every day where I cleaned my cats between two hours. cats. So I started looking for new food. I've been told that Blue Buffalo is a good quality food brand, but my cats haven't touched it. They ended up losing weight while I was feeding them Blue Buffalo simply because I wasn't eating enough of it. I have tried other quality foods that I have found in the health food section of the pet store but my cats will not eat them. One day I was just going to the grocery store to buy something for my hungry kittens and I found a brand of Purina Beyond that seemed to be of better quality than your typical grocery store cat food. I bought Purina Beyond Chicken and my kitties ate it so fast; They liked it! BUT it certainly made them so smelly I couldn't stand it. I liked that they liked it and the convenience of not having to go to a specialty store, so I decided to try a different flavor/protein level (can't remember which one) and I saw an improvement, but not enough. . I then tried this grain free version as I had read that cats are really bad at digesting grains (they are carnivores after all) and finally found food that they like and that doesn't make them stink or vomit. Conveniently I can pick it up at the grocery store if it runs out, although I prefer to order from Revain. It's also a lot more cost-effective to buy a larger size (although I recommend taking a small bag to try it out first). My kitten is cute, plump and happy, there is no puke on the carpet in my house and the litter box doesn't smell of anything. I've finally found a winner. Another thing I like and I don't know if it's just my kittens that have done this, but they've always made such a mess of scientific nutrition. They will gnaw through huge chunks but will not eat the broken pieces. I used to step on crumbs and the bottom of their plate was full of crumbs that I had to throw away because they didn't want to eat them. This Purina Beyond has smaller pieces than the Science Diet, so eat the whole. The blue buffalo had smaller pieces, but my kitties burrowed into the bowl and it splattered all over the floor (probably because they didn't like it). But if this species spills, they will eat it. So this cat food is less messy. Who would have thought that all of my little complaints about cats (stepping on cat food crumbs, smelly litter box, wiping up vomit every day) would be directly related to the food I ate. feed them. Now that I no longer have these problems, I enjoy having a cat even more. Extra tip: Comb your cat's coat regularly to keep loose hairs away from her so they don't get caught in her tummy while she's grooming and you don't have to worry about hairballs.
