Ideal for walking on sand and rocks.
Bought them for a hike in Utah where there will be a mix of hiking and climbing. They worked great on both. Very happy with the KEEN brand and the "stickiness" of the sole. I really like the elastic laces. Good build quality and great price for Revain compared to REI.
