My bun room smelled no matter how many times I changed its tray. Found out his ass was dirty from sitting on a dirty stretcher. Bought this box to pick him up, keep his little ass clean and odor free. He understood that immediately and knew how to deal with it, even though he had never seen rust before. There was some concern that rabbit feet wouldn't be able to stand on the metal grid, but my little one doesn't spend most of his free time out there so I figured it wouldn't hurt my particular rabbit. Our only issue with the box is that it's too small. I kept finding urine under the box and wondered if there was a leak. I checked the car wash and couldn't find anything. But lo and behold, I caught my bun sitting on the box with my butt a little dangling and watched the piss run down the outside of the box. I'll either have to cut the dog pots to fit underneath or find a larger litter box to hold the poo. My boy is quite fat for his breed, maybe 4-5 pounds. I unreservedly recommend this box for any animal 3 pounds or less that will not injure their legs from standing on the grate for too long.
