This is a decent entry-level tablet. This money gets the job done. I won't give that 5 stars because the dry erase markers bought specifically for the slate don't rub off the slate and the words aren't engraved on the plastic as the description says. I will only use this for small production shots. The clapperboard sound is audible in the sound files recorded during the shoot, but I would like the marker to be easily removed. Over time, during the 4th letter, a blackish stain began to appear on the slate. I would suggest using masking tape with the product names and any areas you may not need to change during recording to keep the board clean and readable for your editor.
