Perfect for '08 Malibu LT
This was the perfect replacement for the dry side front door latch actuator on a 2008 Chevy Malibu LT. There's not much room, and GM likes to use a combination of Torx and metric sockets. really annoying. If you remove the original lock or put in a new one, remember that there is another hole in the middle of the door through which you can insert and remove the lock without moving the window slats to the side. It's tough, but be patient. On a difficulty scale of 0 to 10 (most difficult), this setup scores a 3. So most should be able to do it. But make sure you do your research.
