However, when you land in the molded part of the bay, there's too much of an air gap (there's nothing to secure it, it fits tight, the form factor isn't big enough to secure it, so lift it and your drive comes out and flip flops everywhere. So I put the disc in the mesh side and partially secured it there with velcro and it makes it a lot better, the flip flops don't flap around. The outside of the case is good to stop the flop.
