Bought for a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer, had the custom pin retainer but the wrong connector. I had to go to my local car stereo and buy three more adapters and another $27 to get it working. If you're considering a purchase, you can unplug your current antenna and see if you need it or not! (On the Trailblazer, remove the access panel under the glove box, pull up the plastic trim at the door opening and also the body stud. Pull back the carpet, you can see the antenna cable going through the firewall, trace it to the stereo. The connector is about 6-12" long, if that at all, just behind and to the right of the glove box. There is a radio antenna extension that runs behind the heater blower motor. This part does not need to be removed. I had to remove the hood. I broke a bolt on the bracket which is part of the hood hinge bracket to route the cable through the firewall you will need to pull the plastic wheel far back to get the cable through Hope this helps, sounds a lot more complicated than it is!
