Review on 🦖 Collectible Accessories from the Jurassic World Collection by Dustin Ramsey

Fans of a certain age will know that we've seen plenty of Ellie figures, including the "normal" toy that came with the original Jurassic Park release in 1993, and then again - soon later released with slightly better face sculpting (but less accurate screen color changing). In 2018, Mattel offered a pretty good 3.75-inch Legacy line, but THIS one is perfect. At around 15cm tall - our largest scale - the likeness of Laura Dern, who played Ellie in the film, is captured in superb detail. from her prominent cheekbones to her French hairdo and iconic pink shirt tied in the front. She comes with a wealth of accessories, including a versatile harness and walkie-talkie reminiscent of the infamous power plant scene, as well as an extra pair of hands and an interchangeable goggle head. My only minor complaint is that the flesh-toned articulation figures aren't all that discreet and can look a little clunky in places, but in this case it's not too bad and far from being a deal breaker. (FYI, no stand is included.) While I might be a bit apprehensive about giving these figures to a child to play with, overall the Amber collection is a quality collectible set at a reasonable price for anyone. adult fan of JP and Ellie is definitely a highlight.
