These candles are amazing! They look incredibly real, down to the intensity of the flame light. I love real candle light, and this is the closest I've found. They have the same type of illumination down the body of the candle as real ones do. Other brands I've seen either fully illuminated (which makes them look fake) or had a strict cutoff point where the bottom part of the candle was dark. With these, the light tapers down in a natural manner. I also like that they're flat top candles, which are hard to find, and in my opinion look much more real than the ones with uneven edges. You get that crisp look of a brand new candle every time you turn them on. The other thing worth mentioning is that they are completely silent. With other brands I have purchased, you can hear a clicking when the wick moves, but not at all with these. If you use them for wall sconces, these cast a natural glow of light that dances against the wall. The ones I had in the past shot a strobe light type thing up the wall from the opening in the top. Lastly, the glow itself is very pretty and peaceful. The photos don't do them justice. I am very happy with my purchase!
