Review on JVC HAFX5W Gumy Plus Inner Ear Headphones (White) by Tim Blandin

Ever since my dog ate my $350 Ultimate Ears Super.fi5 Pro headphones 5 years ago and made me cry, I have vowed never to spend more than $100 on earbuds Pay and bought myself a set of Klipsch S4s which were vacuumed in a vacuum then vowed never to pay more than $30 for in ear headphones and after going through 2 sets from MEElectronics both of which burned my right ear , I swore off in-ear headphones. For the last year I've just carried Audio Technica ATH-M50 cans everywhere and while they produce great sound, they're also huge and awful to walk or mow lawns (I can only assume they're awful to walk because I it's not in I won't run). unless I'm being followed by something that likes to stop and interrupt things in progress, in which case wearing headphones would be an unwise choice). I resigned myself to trying the in-ear headphones again, but vowed never to pay more than $10. I found 2 pairs that fit this criteria and also had decent reviews - JVC HAFX5B Gumy and Panasonic RPHJE120A. Both products had such attractive names that I ordered a set of each. In short: JVC HAFX5B rubbers are better. Medium: JVC HAFX5B rubbers reproduce deeper and richer bass while the highs are clearer and brighter. . I experience no distortion when listening to it with my iPhone at maximum volume while listening to Infected Mushroom, and at a more reasonable volume I hear every string strumming, fingernail tapping, and Rodrigo and Gabriela strumming (Google's fault). Remember that JVC is full of black magic brought to the level of a Turkish doner kebab. MEElectonics headphones appear to have their right ear clogged with toothpaste. The answer is NO, but you'll look less obtrusive if you choose JVC for a mid-career morning meeting, and you'll sound more devout during Sunday school because you won't be wearing big over-ear headphones. Turns out my Klipsch S4 headphones did NOT get in the vacuum like I was previously told. My wife saw them sitting on the kitchen table earlier this year, thought they were 'extra items just lying around', picked them up and started using them, thought them phenomenal and 'conveniently' didn't notice, that they were "lost." Yes, the Klipsch S4 are vastly superior to the budget headphones this review is written for. BOOOOOOOOTT. The JVC HAFX5B Gumy Plus in-ear headphones are still a phenomenally cheap simulacrum, and I'll wear them even in times of political upheaval and in the epicenters of urban rot to dissuade bandits from the ruthless machinations of petty thugs. S4s ship in good times - times of milk and honey - times when my wife doesn't have them.
