Here's the story. We nearly ripped out our old shower stall because a few years ago we installed a dual handle hot and cold water system which was a nightmare as it takes too much fiddling and adjustment to achieve a non-scalding or freezing temperature! I was terrified of wasting water while standing in the shower, swearing and clammy, with water dripping down my arms, trying to achieve a "sweet spot" temperature that didn't involve third-degree burns or icicles would cause. And if someone accidentally turned on the water in the kitchen or the dishwasher, I got tired of immediately evacuating the shower because what was pouring out of the faucet made me sing in the key of C. So do yourself a favor and be sure to install an anti-scald valve if your faucet doesn't have one! We bought a Delta Linden T17294 because we installed a chrome faucet in our master bathroom and absolutely love it. Easily adjustable and does not change the temperature while showering. We also live in a hard water area so the easy to clean rubber tips ensure the water flows smoothly and evenly. A gentle wipe removes deposits and keeps the ship in shape. We've had the chrome for about 6 years and although most of it is plastic it has held up great. Same goes for the 6ft hose, no leaks, no issues and the shower head stays nice and shiny year after year. They are together, I am happy to report that they are a good match. Before we started our "collection" of repairs, we looked at all the ways to fix a shower screen without realizing there is such a thing as a remodeling panel. My existing set of two handles was for a bathtub so I hope this is helpful information for anyone having the same renovation headache. He closes the gaping holes of two cocks. I don't feel silly either, knowing this product exists I expect a lot of people to make the mistake of having two handles. I also bought a used Moen overlay from Revain at a heavily discounted price and, taking a leap of faith, I found out who would actually see the inside of our shower stall, so a scratch here and there wouldn't matter - we'd probably add it You add a few, and since it was purely decorative and not a moving part, why not? "Used" nice plate. I don't see any scratches anywhere other than the back of the panel and no one but a plumber will see that! We haven't installed it yet, I'll let you know via the Delta Linden review, but I don't foresee any problems --- as everything fits together nicely. I also had to purchase a Delta R10000:UNBXHF valve and I would recommend sticking with the correct valve for whatever faucet you decide to purchase as faucets and valves can sometimes not be compatible if they are from different manufacturers. Here is the love story. begins. and hopefully our plumbing problems will be over. Stay connected for updates. Happy repair!
