I recently brought a Moen shower set for the bathroom. As I already had an oiled bronze shower and bath set I figured this top plate would be the same colour. It is made by the same company. The panel is much lighter than the Moen shower set. Wrong colour.

This solid metal trim from Moen is many times better than Delta's plastic trim. It was about half the price of the Delta and the shape looked a lot better than the regular Delta oval. I'd like to use it in the shower, but the stall has a slight curve, not a flat surface, so I couldn't use it.

Here's the story. We nearly ripped out our old shower stall because a few years ago we installed a dual handle hot and cold water system which was a nightmare as it takes too much fiddling and adjustment to achieve a non-scalding or freezing temperature!
