I LOVE this hammock's pattern. I'm a sucker for space themed things. The colors are bright and haven't faded. The package had everything I needed to take it out of the box and go out to use it. It's strong, and feels super sturdy. I used the ropes that came with it, but I do prefer straps. I don't think that by anyway takes away from the usefulness of the ropes, it's just a personal preference. I would highly recommend this to anyone from a casual hammock user to someone who hikes and uses them to sleep on the trail.
