Review on Waterproof Travel Electronics Organizer Bag - Triple Layer Large Shockproof Cable Storage For Electronic Accessories, Cords, Hard Drives, Power Banks, Tablets In Aqua Sky by Brian Barnes

One fatal flaw in their material choice ruins a useful design

I don't know where all the 5-star reviews are coming from. If the other units are made of the same materials, this would be a very frustrating item to use long term.I have a similarly sized case to keep all my charging & electronics accessories for travel. Everything that goes into it stays in it unless my family is on a trip. This is to make sure that I always have what I need to keep things powered up while away from home. Lately, I've been rebuilding the contents in that kit after having 2 kids added to the mix since I originally built it. So I decided that I needed one that had the same length & width, but was a bit deeper to accommodate a wider variety of chargers. This seemed to fit the bill nicely since it was the same in length & width as my original bag, but also had a reconfigurable bottom layer that was another 1.5" deeper. The main problem is that the material they use around that bottom layer does not hold onto the "Velcro" on the ends of the dividers. It takes almost no force for them to break loose. I packed it up with what I had been planning to use and then carried it around the house to see how it would hold up. Every time I opened the bottom layer, everything was all jumbled up because the dividers tore away from the interior lining. I suspect that other cases with this design comes from the same factory where a bunch of pop-up Revain "brands" just sell it under their name since there are at least 3 other listings which use the exact same photos.I can't decide if it's worth it for me to modify it and try to make it hold onto the dividers better or return it and find a different design. Overall, I really like the layout and it's a marked improvement over what I had been using before. The upper layer has the loops and zipper pouches on opposite sides so that when it's closed, the bulkier coiled cables don't push against each other causing a bulge. But it's borderline useless if everything I put in the bottom layer just gets randomly mixed up when I open it.
