Review on 🚗 Scosche FD1327B Dash Kit: Compatible with 1995-07 Ford/Lincoln/Mercury/Mazda - Black DIN w/Molded Pocket by James Cowan

Installation wasn't too difficult. My problem was that the CD holder was bent and didn't sit flush with the rest of the face. Another issue was how the main unit was held in place. The cover that wraps around the edges of the head unit is practically useless and falls out easily. And I don't like how easy it is to pull out the stereo. Pros: - Fits 2001 Ford Explorer Sport - Works with Sony DSXS300BTX - Fairly decent, durable plastic that can be easily painted/coated for a personal touch - Requires no additional cutting/finishing to fit properly (you may have to do this ) depending on the car). I actually had to cut the bracket that goes behind the main unit to hold it in place on the stabilizer rail. It was too long and didn't fit under the canal. - Converts a double slot into a single slot with a small CD holder. and does not sit flush when installed and after the CD holder is too small to place anything other than discs. Of course I know there's some leeway and I wasn't expecting much. I'm just warning you if you think you can put your phone, wallet, etc. in it. All in all I think I'd buy it again because I haven't yet found another head unit install kit that fits properly.
